The Power of Words

Digital Education Programming Presented by the
Center for Health & Wellbeing

Learn how to write your stress away in this program presented by multidisciplinary artist and educator Catherine Cross Tsintzos. Let positive, uplifting and playful words keep your spirits bright and let your light within shine. You’ll use these words and simple art materials to create beautiful text for cards, journals or frame-ready pieces to keep or share as a gift. No drawing or painting background is needed for this interactive program; this open-ended fun experience is intended to scaffold joy through the process of text and color.

By participating in this program, you can expect to learn:

  • how to visually scaffold joy.
  • how words can change your mood.
  • that creativity is a process not a product.

Special Instructions: Program participants may either passively view the instructor preparing several works or actively engage in creating art. If you’d like to actively engage, please have access to a pen, pencil, and paper, plus, watercolors or markers if desired.

This program is presented by Catherine Cross Tsintzos and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
