Nurturing the Soul of the Artist

Creating art, in whatever the medium, is an ideal way to de-stress, self-heal and process the complicated emotions we are all feeling during challenging times like these. While creating, we can listen to our inner voice that longs to express itself and be inspired by our natural inner creative energies.

In this interactive program presented by Rachel Chase, Arts and Wellness Ambassador for the Atlantic Center for the Arts, we invite you to discover and connect with your inner muse. Rachel will guide you through a soulful experience of reconnecting and creating, whether you are a novice who wants to feel more creative, or an experienced artist who might benefit from a shared experience of creativity. You’ll leave the program energized and inspired to tackle other creative projects around your own home.

Special Program Instructions: please plan to attend this program with any medium you wish to create with: paper and pencil, pens, markers, or even paint and canvas, art journal, pastels, or collage! All 2-D mediums are appropriate for this workshop.

This class is presented by Rachel Chase and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
