Exercise may be the last thing on your mind at the end of a busy day. The task can seem daunting, but what if you find that small steps to moving your body are what you need for ultimate brain power, mood stability and mental health? In this program, Crosby Wellness Center Personal Trainer Sara Wright discusses how to leverage the frequency, intensity, and type of exercise to help reap the most mental health benefits from your workouts. Take away tips and strategies you can implement immediately into your fitness routine, making exercise easier than ever on your mind, body, and spirit.

About the Program Presenter

Sara Wright is a personal trainer with the Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center at the Center for Health & Wellbeing (CHWB). She also serves as the Wellbeing Guide at CHWB. Wright joined the Winter Park Health Foundation, owner of the Crosby Wellness Center, in March 2019. She works directly with community members providing wellbeing coaching and consultation. Wright makes suggestions, provides educational resources, and links each person to programs and services suited to attain health and wellbeing goals safely and smartly. She also creates an individualized plan and provides motivational support as each community member works to achieve success along their personal wellbeing journey. Wright has more than 20 years of professional experience, including the following areas of expertise: Social Services, Health Education, Community Relations, Management, Personal Training, and Fitness Coaching. She earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and two bachelor’s degrees. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals and achieve self-empowerment.
